Reviews: E-40 and Family 4 Life in Petaluma
On February 7, 2004 The Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma California hosted E-40's Gasoline Tour. The event was a team effort by Family Productions (e-40's exclusive booking agent) and NorCal Underground (a west coast premier concert production company). The duo had great success at this same venue when they brought the Too Short "Freaky Tales Tour" through and Saturday was no different. The Phoenix is a great venue for this sort of show, huge with a lot of flavor. The view of the stage was great from any viewpoint

Reviews: Old Dominion and Chosen
On Tuesday February 10th, 2004 I arrived in Portland, Oregon on a train that was 5 hours late. My friend met me at the train station and we quickly went to drop off my bags and contact some people to find something to get into. Of course, we settled on seeing some hip-hop. I was a little leery of what could possibly be happening on a Tuesday night but apparently Portland has a lot to offer. We saw Old Dominion with Chosen. Old dominion is two MCs Smoke and Destro. Chosen is the live band they rhyme with. All together both groups combine to have eight members and a lot of smooth jazz-hop covered up with freestyles so on point you might not believe its improv.
